Starbucks to close 100 U.S. stores
From ICSC: "Seattle-based Starbucks says it will close 100 U.S. stores and slow its pace for new stores this year to 1,175, from a planned 1,600. The company has not disclosed which stores are to shut down. Starbucks posted $208 million in first-quarter earnings, up from $205 million a year ago."
Of the total number of Starbucks locations, 100 is a very small number. Especially when they still plan to open 1,175 stores still.
